Soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to advance on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
As analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War said in their report, Ukrainian defenders advanced further south under the Antonovsky Highway Bridge north of Aleshki. It is 7 km south of Kherson and 4 km from the Dnieper River.
Analysts, citing Russian sources, claim that the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain their positions in Krynki, despite Russian efforts to oust them from the settlement. One of the Russian military commanders said that seven Ukrainian “assault groups” are allegedly operating on the left bank of the Dnieper. Ukrainian defenders also continue operations along the road near Podstepnoye and Cossack Camps.
