The 37th separate brigade of the Ukrainian Marine Corps received at its disposal 40 French wheeled combat reconnaissance vehicles AMX-10RC. These reinforced vehicles, designed for reconnaissance and combat, were recently delivered from France.
According to the Bulgarianmilitary publication, the initial use of the AMX-10RC on Ukrainian soil was not very successful due to imperfect tactical execution during their deployment. As a result of this unsuccessful offensive, four vehicles were lost, one of which was captured by Russian troops. Consequently, these French fighting vehicles were pushed back to the second line. However, within weeks, evidence of their repeated use began to emerge, especially in the form of indirect fire operations.
"The training regimen of the soldiers of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade can be seen in the attached video on French mechanized vehicles. These specialized vehicles are often mistaken for tanks, although in fact they are intended for use as fire support vehicles," it said material.
