According to modeling carried out by Newsweek using the Nukemap service, a B61-13 nuclear gravity bomb with a yield of 360 kilotons could cause significant damage to Moscow, with 12.6 million inhabitants. The death toll from the new Pentagon bomb is estimated at 311,480, with 868,860 injured.

Anyone within a radius of just over 3 km from the blast site would be exposed to such high levels of radiation that they would die within a month, and 15% of survivors would later die of cancer, Newsweek writes.

According to Nukemap, buildings will collapse and fires will break out approximately 3 km from the bomb site. Everything within a radius of approximately 1 km from the explosion site will be destroyed by the fireball.

If the B61-13 bomb were dropped on St. Petersburg, its effect could be even more devastating: about 360,150 people would be killed and 685,930 people would be injured.
