In the south, the enemy has significant losses, but is striking at civilians; yesterday he managed to destroy the invincibility point.
According to the press service of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, 31 occupiers were liquidated over the past 24 hours. Two enemy cannons, an Msta-S self-propelled artillery unit, six vehicles and a field ammunition supply point were destroyed.
“The operational situation in the zone of responsibility of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine remains tense. Counter-battery warfare, maneuvers of forces and means continue,” the Ukrainian military notes.
As of now, the enemy has reduced the ship group to four units due to the intensification of the storm: three ships are on duty in the Black Sea and one in the Azov Sea. The launch vehicles have been deployed to their bases.
During the day (from 7.00 to 7.00) the enemy launched four air strikes using 33 guided bombs on populated areas of the Kherson region. The occupiers also carried out three strikes with FPV drones and dropped 9 fragmentation munitions from UAVs of other modifications on populated areas of the Berislavsky region. A mobile phone tower and a private vehicle were damaged.
“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out more than 70 artillery attacks using more than 520 shells, including 4 shelling of populated areas. Kherson, Antonovka, Berislav in the Kherson region and Solonchaki in the Mykolayiv region were shelled. As a result of the shelling, two civilians were wounded, two private houses were damaged and power line," the report said.
In addition, near the settlement of Shirokaya Balka, a civilian was injured as a result of a mine explosion.
According to the head of the Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, the enemy hit the right bank with mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, UAVs and aircraft.
“The Russian military hit residential areas of settlements in the region, a cell tower and an indestructibility point in the Berislavsky district - explosives were dropped on Novoberislav. A postal vehicle was also damaged there. Fortunately, no people were injured,” the official said.
