Today, as a result of enemy shelling of Kherson, a 72-year-old man was killed and three other people were wounded. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko.
“One dead and three wounded: Russia continues to target civilians in Kherson,” he said.
According to Klimenko, the enemy fired at a residential area in the long-suffering Ostrov microdistrict around noon. As a result of the attack, a 72-year-old local resident was killed and another 74-year-old man was injured. During the shelling, he was in the entrance of the house. The victim was hospitalized.
The minister added that two more civilians received medical treatment at the scene.
In addition, four multi-storey buildings, an educational institution and a church were damaged.
According to the head of the Kherson MBA, Roman Mrochka, the deceased man received an explosive injury that was incompatible with life. During the enemy attack he was on the balcony.
