The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believes that Russia can continue the tactic when, against the background of the threat of an attack in Ukraine, prolonged air raids are announced. This is being done to paralyze our economy.
PS Speaker Yuri Ignat said this on Radio Liberty on Thursday, November 16. He was also asked whether the occupiers could organize alarms that would last for 12 hours a day. According to Ignat, such cases have already happened.
“Previously, they just lasted 20-30 minutes, takeoff and landing were practiced, but now it’s about five a day. It keeps you in suspense - the anxiety was there, disappeared, and after half an hour it started again. It also stretched out for half a day. Plus they took off for one and a half days at a time. hours, that is, their standard tanks allow you to stay in the air for an hour and a half without refueling the MiG. And there were three or four such takeoffs about six months ago. Therefore, somewhere close to the idea that we have already had this and, perhaps, the enemy and It will continue," Ignat said.
During threats, the economy and business suffer and the work of educational institutions stops. According to Ignat, Russia will use all the tools for such “terrorist tactics.”
The speaker was also asked whether, in the event of prolonged alarms, Ukraine could be divided at the level of danger. He noted that this option is not being considered yet, since this decision must be balanced and requires a serious approach.
