Ukraine's Export Figures in the 2023/2024 Marketing Year
Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports that during the 2023/2024 marketing year (from July 1 to November 15, 2023), the country exported 10.968 million tons of grains and legumes. These exports comprised 5.225 million tons of wheat, 749 thousand tons of barley, 0.9 thousand tons of rye, and 4.865 million tons of corn.
Comparison with the Previous Year
Comparing the current marketing year with the previous one, by November 15, 2022/2023, Ukraine had exported 15.566 million tons of grains and legumes. The breakdown included 5.969 million tons of wheat, 1.278 million tons of barley, 11.2 thousand tons of rye, and 8.252 million tons of corn.
November 2023 Export Statistics
For the first 14 days of November 2023, Ukraine exported 1.728 million tons of grains and legumes, contrasting with 2.363 million tons during the same period in the previous year. This November, exports consisted of 594 thousand tons of wheat, 67 thousand tons of barley, and 1.061 million tons of corn. Notably, there were no rye exports this November, unlike the 5 thousand tons exported during the same period last year.
Flour Exports and Previous Year Comparison
In the 2023/2024 marketing year, Ukraine exported 46 thousand tons of flour, almost matching the 46.2 thousand tons exported in the same period of the previous marketing year.
