In the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region, the number of migrants from Central Asia and the North Caucasus is growing. First of all, this concerns Mariupol.
The Center for National Resistance reports this. It is known that in occupied Mariupol alone there are already more than 30 thousand migrants brought by the Russians.
“These migrants are ready to work on construction projects sponsored by the occupation administration for low wages. At the same time, the unemployment rate among local residents is growing, and has already reached 50% in some areas of the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region,” the message says.
The Resistance Center noted that in this way the occupiers are pursuing a policy to change the demographic composition of the temporarily occupied territories. Local residents are forced to leave due to unemployment and humanitarian disaster, and migrants loyal to Russia are brought in instead.
