The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations on the left bank in the Kherson region. Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions and are likely moving infantry.
Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War noted that Ukrainian forces continued operations on the left bank of the Dnieper on November 18. At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Defense Forces are holding positions in the east of the Kherson region.
In turn, the Russian military correspondent claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of artillery, allegedly unsuccessfully attacked in the area of the villages of Poyma, which is 10 km southeast of Kherson and 4 km from the Dnieper, and Peschanivka, which is 13 km southeast of Kherson and 3 km from the Dnieper, as well as from the village of Krynki, which is 30 km northeast of Kherson and 2 km from the Dnieper.
According to Russian military commanders, the Ukrainian army continues to transfer additional infantry to the eastern bank.
At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on November 18, the Defense Forces repelled 12 attacks by Russian invaders on the eastern coast of the Kherson region.
