Defense Expenditure Reaches ₴1.39 Trillion in 10 Months

Ukraine's commitment to bolstering its defense capabilities is evident in the allocation of ₴1.39 trillion from the general fund of the state budget for security and defense. The disclosed figures reveal that from January to October 2023, a significant portion, 59.3% to be precise, of the overall general fund expenditures were directed towards fortifying the nation's security.
The breakdown of these expenditures encompasses various crucial areas, including financial support for military personnel, both enlisted and officers, police forces, as well as the acquisition of military and specialized equipment, weaponry, ammunition, and medical provisions.
It's noteworthy that in October alone, the defense sector received ₴135.8 billion from the general fund of the state budget. These funds continue to play a pivotal role in enhancing the country's defense capabilities, ensuring the well-being of military personnel, and securing the necessary resources for a robust defense infrastructure.
