Mobile air defense: fighters showed how they shoot down Russian planes and drones

Ukrainian servicemen who defend the skies in the ranks of the air defense forces spoke in more detail about their work.
TSN talked with fighters of mobile air defense groups. They say that after the air raid warning is announced, they get into their cars, drive to their positions and begin observation. The first group, consisting of a driver and a gunner, works with the American Stinger man-portable air defense system. The military said it is being deployed on cruise missiles, airplanes, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The second group is armed with the British Martlet man-portable anti-aircraft missile system. According to the fighters, drones and missiles are shot down from it. Last spring, with the help of MANPADS, the Russian Orlan UAV was destroyed for the first time, and now it has a dozen Shahed-type drones on its account.
The military says that they also go on duty during takeoffs of Russian MiG-31s, which can remain in the sky for several hours: the plane can be a “distraction”, because at this time the invaders are able to launch missiles from ships into the sea.
