Ukrainian Agrarians Secure Record-Breaking 66 Billion Hryvnias in Credits

Key Regions Lead in Credit Acquisition:
The distribution of credits across various regions indicates significant economic activity. The largest shares were secured by agrarians in the Kyiv region, with 10.6 billion hryvnias granted to 913 enterprises. Following closely are the Vinnytsia region with 6 billion hryvnias to 1,431 enterprises and the Dnipropetrovsk region with 5.95 billion hryvnias to 798 enterprises. Cherkasy saw 486 enterprises receive 5.3 billion hryvnias, while in Kirovohrad, 1,668 enterprises secured 4.85 billion hryvnias. In Odesa, 1,087 enterprises were granted 4.37 billion hryvnias.

State Program "Accessible Credits 5-7-9" Achieves Milestones:
As of November 22, a significant portion of the credits, totaling nearly 38 billion hryvnias, was disbursed under the state program "Accessible Credits 5-7-9." This program, designed to facilitate access to banking credits for micro and small businesses, has been particularly beneficial for Ukrainian agro-producers.

Top Beneficiaries of "Accessible Credits 5-7-9%":
The program's impact is evident in the distribution of credits to agricultural producers. Notably, the largest recipients were agricultural entities in the Kirovohrad region, with 1,323 enterprises obtaining 4.1 billion hryvnias. Additionally, 1,078 enterprises in Vinnytsia received 3.89 billion hryvnias, while 876 enterprises in Odesa secured 3.68 billion hryvnias. The Kyiv region saw 734 agro-firms receiving 3.6 billion hryvnias.

Program Adjustments by the Ukrainian Cabinet:

On September 15, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made adjustments to the "Accessible Credits 5-7-9%" program. Notably, the annual interest rate for revolving funds was set at 13% (excluding enterprises operating in high-risk war zones). Additionally, the program limit was increased to 150 million hryvnias for businesses in high-risk war zones, de-occupied territories, processing enterprises, and those involved in energy modernization.
