EU Allocates €50 Million to Ukraine for Port Infrastructure Restoration

In a recent announcement, President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission stated, "Despite the war, Ukraine continues to feed the world. In these efforts, you can rely on the EU. We are improving our solidarity, providing €50 million for the repair of your port infrastructure.
The decision comes after a meeting between Ukraine and NATO on July 26.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed the military to enhance the protection of port infrastructure and citizens. Zelensky also appealed to partners to create a protective shield around Ukrainian cities.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has extended the operation of the "grain" humanitarian corridor.
