The swearing-in ceremony for the new Polish government led by Mateusz Morawiecki is scheduled for Monday. Voicing this, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, confirmed the event. The swearing-in is slated for 16:30 local time, followed by a two-week window for Morawiecki to secure a majority in the Sejm, as revealed by Wojciech Kolarski, the minister of the president's chancellery.

While Morawiecki plans to unveil his cabinet lineup on Monday, the constituents of this new cabinet remain unknown. The formation follows parliamentary elections held on October 15 in Poland. Despite the victory of the Law and Justice party (PiS), they fell short of a parliamentary majority. Subsequently, a coalition was formed by four center-left parties (the Civic Coalition, "Poland 2050," the Polish People's Party, and the "New Left"), combining to hold 248 out of the minimum 231 parliamentary mandates required.

Efforts by Morawiecki to negotiate with various parliamentary parties have been inconclusive. None have explicitly pledged support for the PiS-led government. Should Morawiecki's government fail to secure the Sejm's confidence vote by December 10, Donald Tusk will likely take the helm in forming the new cabinet.
