Loongson 3A6000 utilizes a command system and architecture entirely developed in China, breaking away from reliance on any foreign licensed technology. The presentation highlights that China's independently developed central processors have reached new levels of autonomy and performance, rivaling leading global counterparts.
The company also unveiled its own microchip (controller) for printer management, the Loongson 2P0500, the first of its kind manufactured in China. This move is expected to bring more Chinese-made printers/scanners to the market.
Loongson is a versatile microprocessor architecture developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to provide an alternative to products from Intel and AMD. In terms of performance, the Loongson 3A6000 is comparable to the American Intel Core i3 10th generation and is intended solely for the domestic market. In December of the previous year, the Chinese government recognized Loongson technology as strategically important, imposing a complete ban on exporting processors based on the LoongArch architecture beyond the country's borders.
